Criminal Justice Responses to the Linkages between Terrorism, Transnational Organized Crimes and International Crimes Initiative: Second Expert Meeting

SAINT JULIAN'S - Malta - Criminal Justice and Rule of Law (CJ-ROL) Working Group Co-Chairs, Nigeria and Switzerland, hosted the Second Expert Meeting within the Initiative on Criminal Justice Responses to the Linkages between Terrorism, Transnational Organized Crimes and International Crimes that focused on the Criminal Justice Responses to the Linkages between Terrorism, the Financing of Terrorism, Illicit Trafficking in Goods and Maritime Crimes.

The Second Expert Meeting was held with the participation of investigators and prosecutors dealing with counterterrorism, transnational organized crimes or serious crimes in particular relating to the trafficking of goods, such as drugs, small arms and light weapons, cultural artefacts or natural resources. Participants also included counterterrorism policy makers and legal experts with substantial knowledge of criminal justices responses to the linkage between terrorism and transnational organized crimes.
