Following the Initiative’s First Regional Meeting in Algiers, Algeria in October 2017, the Second Regional Meeting examined the nexus between transnational organized crime and terrorism in the Balkan region. Furthermore, the meeting discussed ways that research, information sharing, local engagement, capacity building, and law enforcement can identify and address the Nexus.
