The workshop sought to raise awareness on how terrorists can use UAS to threaten individuals and civilian targets and promote discussion on national action plans, approaches, and efforts to counter the misuse of UAS. The aim of the Initiative is to develop a set of internationally recognized, non-binding Good Practices that can serve as the basis for international engagement, assistance, and training to understand how international stakeholders can counter terrorist use of UAS. It is anticipated that these Good Practices will be presented for endorsement at the Tenth GCTF Ministerial Plenary Meeting in September 2019.
