The United States, Lead of the Initiative on Maritime Security and Terrorist Travel, hosted a virtual event on the Public-Private Partnership in the Maritime domain. This webinar provided participants with the opportunity to discuss best practices in relation to the operational aspects of public-private partnerships to interdict maritime terrorist travel, as well as to address policy and legal frameworks to support an efficient public-private partnership to interdict maritime terrorist travel. A very engaged group of participants and panelists from both the Public and the Private sectors called unanimously for more and more collaboration between the two sectors in name of the common shard interests at stake in the maritime domain.
