Protection of Soft Targets in a Counterterrorism Context Workshop

Friday 31 March 2017

Singapore – Following the Inaugural Meeting of the GCTF Soft Targets Initiative (STI), held in Turkey in December 2016, the First Regional Workshop was convened in Singapore on 30-31 March 2017.

The Workshop in Singapore brought together policy officers, law enforcement agencies, and private companies from the 30 GCTF members as well as from regional countries and organizations. With a number of case studies, the Workshop identified ways to facilitate intra- and interagency sharing of information, and the enhancement of public-private partnerships in the protection of soft target attacks.
