The GCTF Co-Chairs, Canada and Morocco, hosted the Eleventh GCTF Ministerial Plenary Meeting on 7 October 2021. On the tenth anniversary of the Forum, a Ministerial Statement | Arabic | French reaffirms the Forum's unified and unwavering commitment to strengthening international counterterrorism cooperation, and to making the international counterterrorism architecture more effective in addressing the evolving threat of terrorism. It also endorses the GCTF Strategic Vision for the Next Decade, three new Framework Documents, and welcomes a new toolkit.

The GCTF Co-Chairs, Canada and Morocco, hosted the Nineteenth GCTF Coordinating Committee Meeting virtually on 6 October 2021. As the Forum marks its tenth anniversary, the GCTF took stock of its progress over the past decade and welcomed a Strategic Vision for the Next Decade.

GCTF resources could have a wide range of applications, including in the military domain. NATO has made practical use of GCTF documents on battlefield evidence, countering unmanned aerial systems, and border security management.
