The GCTF Criminal Justice and Rule of Law Working Group hosted this expert meeting with the aim of exploring criminal justice responses to the linkages between terrorism, the financing of terrorism, corruption and other financial crimes. More specifically, the meeting reflected on the challenges related to issues such as applicable legal regimes, jurisdiction, cooperation and the gathering, use and sharing of evidence, and how to overcome these challenges. In so doing, it provided the building blocks for the development of good practices and recommendations on criminal justice responses to the linkages between terrorism and transnational organized crimes.
