ABU DHABI - United Arab Emirates - On 19-20 February 2018, the GCTF Countering Violent Extremism Working Group Co-Chairs, Australia and Indonesia, organized a workshop on the topic of Monitoring, Measurement and Evaluation (MM&E).

ALGIERS – Algeria - The GCTF Capacity-Building in the West Africa Region Working Group Co-Chairs, Algeria and Canada, convened the Working Groups's Plenary Meeting in Algiers, on 23-24 October 2017.

THE HAGUE - the Netherlands - The Foreign Terrorist Fighters Working Group Co-Chairs, Morocco and the Netherlands, held the last Plenary Meeting of this Working Group under their joint co-chairmanship in The Hague, the Netherlands.

SEMARANG - Indonesia - The GCTF Detention and Reintegration Working Group’s Workshop on “Integrating Prisons into National Counter-Terrorism Arrangements” was hosted by the Jakarta Centre for Law Enforcement Cooperation (JCLEC) on 11-12 April 2017, in Semarang, Indonesia.

ADDIS ABABA – Ethiopia - GCTF Horn of Africa (HOA) Working Group (WG) Co-Chairs, the European Union and Turkey, convened the Sixth Plenary Meeting in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on 6 April 2017.

ADDIS ABABA - Ethiopia - The Workshop on the Role of Law Enforcement in Relation to Preventive Actions to Counter Terrorism to discuss the role of law enforcement in relation to preventive actions to counter terrorism was held back to back with the Horn of Africa Working Group plenary meeting on 4-5 April 2017. 

THE HAGUE - the Netherlands - Under the auspices of the GCTF Foreign Terrorist Fighters Working Group, co-chaired by Morocco and the Netherlands, the United States led a “Dialogue on Countering Foreign Terrorist Fighters (FTFs) and Radicalization to Violence in Central Asia.”
